Fifede organizes a meeting in which representatives of islands belonging to France, Holland and Portugal take part

The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Insular Foundation for Training, Employment and Business Development (Fifede), has organized a training program with professionals from the Ultraperipheral Regions (RUP) and overseas specialized in employment projects linked to youth of these territories. The conferences, called INislas (Initiatives in Islands), bring together professionals from the French, Dutch and Portuguese islands. The initiative will be carried out with the co-financing of the European Commission, through the program'Erasmus + 'and in the preparation and planning of the same have participated the two young people of Martinique and San Martin that has hosted during the first half of the year Fifede, within the framework of the European Voluntary Service.

The Minister of Employment of the Cabildo, Leo Benjumea, emphasizes that these days "allow us to know the work that is being developed in these territories in terms of employment and establish, where appropriate, the necessary ways of collaboration for young people from Tenerife to do professional practices or to complete a volunteering in these outermost regions ".

The days, which conclude tomorrow [miércoles 11], allow attendees to share experiences and good practices developed with the aim of enabling young people living in these islands far from the European continent to launch training, employment and entrepreneurship initiatives. The days have professionals from the islands of Martinique, Guadeloupe and New Caledonia (France); San Martín (Holland and France); and Madeira and the Azores (Portugal), as well as representatives of Curaçao and Aruba, autonomous territories of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
