The facade of the Cabildo will be tinted tomorrow, Thursday 14, at 21.00, turquoise, to commemorate the National Day of Spanish Sign Language. This is an action organized by the Federation of Deaf Associations of Canary Islands (Fasican) as a reference entity for deaf people in this archipelago.
This commemoration is intended to share and promote the dissemination of these languages and make the day visible with In order to promote measures to normalize their use beyond the domestic, educational or socio-health sectors. The goal is to demonstrate the value of this type of language and the importance of its use for deaf people, people with hearing problems and deafblind.
