The Area of Courses and Workshops of the Culture Board of the City of Arona concludes the program of activities planned for the first quarter of 2018 with 965 people enrolled in a training offer that, in addition to touring the most populated areas of the municipality, has had more of 25 different options for all audiences and ages.
The registration period for the period of April, May and June is still open, which will keep many activities "for the good reception and high demand", with 26 proposals that include training in English, German, Italian and Spanish for foreigners, advanced makeup , sewing and making traditional costumes, massages, cooking or different dances.
This is highlighted by the Councilor for Culture and Education of Arona, Leopoldo Díaz Oda, who explains that "the catalog of educational and recreational courses and workshops has been designed in accordance with the demand and needs transmitted by the users, with proposals that we are trying to bring neighborhoods and innovations closer in each quarter. " In addition, the mayor emphasizes that this project is committed to training as complete as possible, at an affordable cost and with flexible hours.
Among the proposals for the final quarter, arts, crafts, dances, piano, zumba, taichi, yoga, massages, cooking, cutting and making, as well as photography, makeup or languages have been included. The program has been carried out in the different areas of the municipality, with actions in Los Cristianos, El Fraile, Parque la Reina, Las Americas Beach, San Lorenzo Valley, Cabo Blanco, La Camella and Arona Casco.
Registration is now open for the second quarter of the year and all the information can be found in the "Courses and workshops" section of the municipal website www.arona.org/cultura.
