The City Council has almost ready the Special Plan that wants to approve this month while the revised project is already in the hands of the Port Authority
City of Santa Cruz Y Port Authority have taken all the necessary steps so that the announcement that the works of the beach of Valleseco begin this year be a reality. The Special Plan of the area is almost ready for approval by the Plenary of the capital and the work project already reviewed, is in the hands of the Port Authority. However, Cabildo de Tenerife and Gobierno de Canarias, the other two administrations that collaborate in this great coastal project, still do not approve the financing agreement, without which, ports can not tender the works. This was confirmed by the mayor, José Manuel Bermúdez, who, despite the delay, was optimistic and confident that the other two administrations comply and give their approval to the agreement before the end of the summer.
"The Special Plan is about to leave and if there are no problems we will try to take it to the Plenary this July," the mayor explained. "This is an indispensable step," Bermúdez continued, "so that the Port Authority can approve the technical project, which is already delivered and supervised by the municipal technicians."
