The international seal, which only have three other initiatives in the Islands, is granted by the same entity that delivers the blue flags
The deputy mayor of Los Realejos, Adolfo González, and the mayor of Environment, Alexis Hernández, delivered the distinctive Blue Center to the coordinator of the Rambla de Castro Nature Hall, Isidro Baeza, after renewing this international seal of the European Foundation of Environmental Education for the fourth consecutive year. It is the same body that grants the Blue Flag that waves this summer in the realejera beach of El Socorro.
"The Rambla de Castro Nature Hall," said Hernández, "is the only space in Tenerife that has earned this recognition, which is true of three other Canarian centers: the Natural Reserve Interpretation Center of the Maspalomas Dunes, in San Bartolomé de Tirajana ( Gran Canaria), the Tower of Our Lady of Pilar and San Miguel in La Oliva (Fuerteventura) and the Museum of La Restingolita in El Pinar (El Hierro) ".
