#Aronadeportes prepares for the VIII International Meeting …

Arona is preparing to receive a new edition of the International Meeting of Combined Athletics Events on June 2 and 3 at the facilities of the Antonio Domínguez stadium in Playa de Las Américas. This edition will be marked by the participation of several athletes who treasure brands of international level and that will surely give a great sporting spectacle.

For this edition athletes from different countries will meet, both in the male and female category. France, Estonia, Portugal, Belgium, Croatia, Great Britain, Portugal, Brazil, Ireland and Spanish athletes will compete in the disciplines of Decathlon (Men's Trial that costs four races, three pitches and three jumps) and Heptathlon (Women's Test that consists of three races, two jumps and two throws)
Among the group of athletes who will meet at Arona in this international event is the participation of the French Romain Martin (holder of a personal mark of 8,138 pts), Ruben Gado (finalist in the Heptathlon indoor track world championship). or the canary Jonay Jordan.

In the women's section we can see in action the Brazilian Vanesa Chefer, who was already the winner of the meeting in 2015, or the Portuguese Lacabela Quaresma (both with marks over 6150 points) or the current world champion U-18, the Spanish Maria Vicente, who also holds the world record of 18 Pentathlon indoor track.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy a high-level athletic event in the south of the island of Tenerife in Arona, on June 2 and 3, at the Antonio Domínguez Stadium in Playa de Las Américas, where the championship will also be played of the Canary Islands of combined tests sub 16, sub 18 and sub 20.
