Improve the employability of young people in Arona, facilitating their integration into the labor market. This is the main objective of the collaboration agreement signed in December 2017 between the municipal area of Youth, which manages the councilor Yolanda Mendoza, and the association for economic and social development Rayuela, which allowed to serve 247 young people in the municipal structures of Cabo Blanco, El Fraile and Los Cristianos.
This collaboration agreement was fundamental for the development in Arona of the program for employment in the Canaries (SCE) called the Vocational Guidance for Employment and Care at Work (OPEA).  During the duration of the OPEA project in Arona, these 247 people aged between 16 and 30 were assisted and advised in municipal structures, with the aim of enrolling them in the National Youth Guarantee System, in various workshops and experimental and training programs.
